In fact, the show’s host, Aditya Narayan told that the show had completed its 70 episodes, and thus the show has become the longest-running reality show in Indian TV history. This season is the longest-running show not only of Indian Idol but of any reality show.
Recently 70 episodes of the season have been completed, and earlier, this record was recorded in the name of another TV reality show with 69 episodes. On this special occasion, the makers ordered a special cake for all the contestants, hosts and judges and a celebration was held on the stage. Everyone cut the cake, ate and danced.
