Sivakarthikeyan, a leading actor in Tamil cinema, was not quite right last year in terms of his movie releases. Sivakarthikeyan’s films such as “Remo”, “Seema Raja”, “Velaikkaran and “Mr. Local” did not make much box office collections. Sivakarthikeyan who was facing continuous flops joined hands with his favourite Director Pandiarajan who introduced him to movies.
Sivakarthikeyan starred in Pandirajan’s “Namma Veetu Pillai”, a production of Sun Pictures. Pandiarajan’s extraordinary screenplay and Sun Pictures aggressive marketing strategy to take the movie to nook and corners of Tamil Nadu worked really well and the movie was a super hit in his career. After this, Irumbu Thirai Director P.S. Mithran worked with Sivakarthikeyan in a movie titled “Hero” which was a superhero subject and it didn’t go well within the box office. The film, with its superhero storyline, was a huge failure.

Sivakarthikeyan is now acting in movies ‘Doctor’ and ‘Ayalaan’ simultaneously. All of the filmings has now been stopped due to the Coronavirus problems. Kolamavu Kokila film director Nelson Dilipkumar will direct the film Doctor. The film is being produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions in association with KJR Studios. Priyanka makes her debut who was seen in Telugu movie ‘Gang Leader’ in this film opposite Sivakarthikeyan. Anirudh will compose music for this film. Yogi Babu and Vinay will play key roles in the film.
The shooting of the film has started on February 14 in Goa. But now that the filming has been stopped due to the coronavirus issue, Sivakarthikeyan fans have been browsing social media about the movie “Doctor”. Reports say that the final shooting is planned in some places in Goa, while the government will allow the shooting of the movie again and if the shoot is completed in November, the film will be released on Christmas in December.
