Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya is one of the most watched Tamil movie in the last decade and has even acquired a cult status among lovers. Gautham Menon who directed the movie won accolades for the movie and from the moment this movie got released people were eager to watch the sequel Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya 2. Now 10 years after the release of VTV things are moving in a positive direction for Gautham Menon and his team and with the rececnt release of the short film Karthick Dial Seitha Yen things are slowly moving towards Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya 2 coming into reality.
The movie which had Simbu and Trisha in lead roles turned out to be a blockbuster, and its Telugu version Ye Maya Chesave was also successful. Now Gautham Vasudev Menon is set to direct a sequel to the movie, and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya 2 will also star Simbu and Trisha and will have music by AR Rahman, and as per latest reports, popular production house Vels Film International will bankroll this movie.
