Admiring the natural resources and cultural roots of the song, the film is gaining popularity day by day as it is on par with English songs. Released on YouTube on March 7, the song received 8.7 million (87.50 lakh) views in just five days. The fact that an independent song has been received on par with or more than a film song has caused a stir in the Tamil film industry.
